There'll definitely be no extension needed--my beta and I generally sit down in Skype and Google docs for a few hours on a Saturday and go over each chapter line by line, then I spend about two weeks writing the next chapter, and so on. By the 'rough draft due date' I expect the fic will be about 3/4 done, if my initial thoguhts on plot and length are at all accurate!
