Hi! We really evaluate things based on intent which we know is more grey area for situations such as yours. By the honor code, if you intend to write a story that is both plot and slow burn, we would tell you not to worry about it - you can still write a plot fic, but in the same way that if this were to be a "plot big bang" romance fics were allowed but a plot would be required to be a central focus, for us the slow burn/romance would be required to be a central focus, if that makes sense.

If you feel that your story hinges more on plot than romance, then we would say it doesn't fit our definition of slow burn.
